A bit about me

Hi, I’m Mascha!

I’m a screenwriter and director of short films, documentaries, music videos, and commercials. I also run a video production company in Austria called Holy Moly films. On top of that, I absolutely love watching films and analyzing them, breaking them down into tools, and sharing their magic in articles for CineD, Instagram reels, and at Cinema&therapy meetups (which I host regularly online with a friend).

I also write fiction, have started publishing short stories, and plan to go on a writing retreat later this year.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Will it be interactive? Do I need to actively participate?

Yes, there’ll be some interactivity — we’ll chat, share thoughts, and play a mini-quiz. But! Active participation (camera, mic, chat answers) is totally optional. If you’d rather just listen, you’re welcome to keep your camera and mic off.

What if I don’t know anything about filmmaking?

No worries! This webinar is for people who love cinema and learning new things. Sure, you might hear a couple of unfamiliar terms, but I’ll explain everything, show examples, and answer all questions.

How can I invite a friend?

The best way is to send them the link to this page so they can register themselves. But if they forget or decide to join last-minute, you can share the Zoom link with them once you receive it by email.

Will there be a recording of the webinar?

Yes, absolutely. If you can’t attend live, you can still send a donation and fill out the registration form below. The recording will be sent to all registered participants.

Why donation-based?

Because this isn’t a work project — it’s something I’m doing as a fun personal experiment to celebrate my birthday. I’m happy with any amount as a gift. It’s a one-time event, and I don’t plan to do anything similar in the near future.

How do I get the Zoom link?
